As we approach the new year it’s time to start thinking about cricket again! So, dust off those cricket bags, remove whatever was festering in them from last summer and start to prepare for the new season which will be here before we know it!

Indoor nets start the week of the 12th January, and run through to the week ending the 3rd April, except there will be no youth training during half term (the week of the 16th to the 20th February).

If you are not sure what session to attend please contact Rich Filer (for adult cricket) or Jason Barnes (for youth cricket).

Youth players who played league cricket last year are welcome to join the Senior session as well.

New Players

New players for our senior teams are always welcome, with a range of Seven Adult Saturday teams, Women’s team and two midweek teams we can offer players of all ages and abilities a friendly place to play. Before coming to a training session please contact Rich Filer (for adult cricket).

Payment

Each session costs £5, new members get their first session for free.

As usual there is the option of a discounted payment of £50 for the whole twelve weeks, which can be purchased here for senior training, or the whole 11 weeks for junior sessions.

Downs School

We use the sports hall at the Downs School for our adult training sessions.

The sports hall car park is at the back of the site, and the sports hall is accessed down the steps shown in red below.

Merchants Academy

Our youth training sessions are held at the Merchants Academy.

There is a small car park near the sports center, and the entrance is on the side of the building (shown by the red line).
