
Friday 10th October saw our annual senior awards evening and end of season dinner take place at The County Ground in Bristol, with 19 people picking up awards from across the club.
In the club wide awards across weekend league matches Dylan Church took the batting award with 647 runs, narrowly ahead of Mark Skeet (631 runs) and Ollie Meadows (604 runs). The bowling award went to Tayyab Nasir with 33 wickets, Nas Stanikzai and Fahad Sabir in 2nd place with 27 wickets each. Tayyab also picked up the coveted Duck award with 4 throughout the season! The fielding award again went to Matty Brewer with 25 catches and stumpings, ahead of Lewis Shean (14 catches and stumpings) and George Davey the only outfielder in the top three with 12 catches and run outs.
The Jack Radnedge award for club person of the year was presented by Jack’s son and club patron Jonathan Radnedge to Ian Jones for all his work running the bar. The Bert Bellamy award for the junior club person of the year went to Jess Mawer for all her help around the club throughout the year.

The fantasy cricket winners were also announced, with Rich Bryan taking the win for July, Henry Bowen taking 3rd place overall from afar, and the Filer’s sweeping up the rest with Rich taking 2nd overall and the August title, and Sara & Jack’s team taking the overall top spot, along with May and June!
