After losing the first toss of the season Bedminster then put on a decent batting display against an experienced Bishop Sutton bowling line up. There was no big partnerships but many hitting in the twenties Bedminster put on respectable 174.
Bedminster young guns then got the ball with an impressive opening spell from Harry Drissell with 3 wickets and Danny Constable got us off to a tight start. This was followed by good spells from Shazil Butt with 3 wickets followed by a wicket each from Kish, Assan Butt and the older D Shean then cleaned up the tail with two wickets.
Two greatest catches from H Drissell and A Butt and generally good fielding and good keeping from Lewis Shean Bedminster secured a 28 run win for the first game and a good start.
